# Elasticsearch Weight query

I tried finding the example queries where **weight param** is used to do **relevancy and scoring** , but couldn't; able to do so.
**Is it possible to add weight in the search query similar to boost in the Elasticsearch community edition?**
As per [App Search](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/app-search/current/relevance-tuning-guide.html), **weight is also used with a boost to do relevancy and scoring.**
