I am wondering if there is any way to edit the display name of the "from" email when it actually sends the email notification. What I want is like for "from" when the user receives the notification. For now, the display name of "from" is just the email address I set in the email configuration of elasticsearch.yml.

It seems there is no option to edit the name.

Hi @Pororo,

Currently, there is not a way to change that in the UI, but you can change it manually using curl.

I'll write up a ticket to add this in the UI.

Thanks,
Chris

I think you would have to also add fields for the from user's password too? Otherwise you're letting user's spoof another person's email?
