# Embed url construction

is there documentation or a cheat sheet on the embed URL construction/syntax? i want to be able to construct it without having to use the kibana UI.

No there isn't really documentation for it. It's RISON encoded however, and if you decode different charts, I suspect you might start to see a pattern.
