# Enquire about xpack License for 5.6.15

Is xpack license Free for ElasticSearch Kibana 5.6.15?

X-Pack has always had a variety of license levels, with different sets of features.
One of those licenses is the "Basic" license which is free.
In 5.6, that license includes monitoring & additional map zoom levels, but not much else (sorry, it's quite an old version and no longer supported, so I can't recall exactly what was included in that version with the basic license).
The other X-Pack features require a paid license.
