# Enrich Beats data with Windows registry values

Is there any way to have metricbeat or some other beat add a registry entry value to their fields and/or tags? I know you can reference environment variables using ${VAR}, and so you could add an environment variable as a tag, but I'd like to be able to add a tag that is pulled from a windows registry value.
