I'm trying to convert 1422083623.329786 to a format like 1-24-2015 7:13:43.329

I've been looking it up through some past posts but I'm pretty lost. My current grok filter for it is
%{NUMBER:ts}

Thanks in advance

You can convert it to a timestamp using

```
date { match => ["timeStamp", "UNIX"] }
```

If instead you want it as a string in a particular format you could [do that too](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/date-field-being-converted-to-timestamps/180044/4).
