Hi there,

I want to send a +8Go csv file to my ES server form my machine.

I use Logstash to send the file with this conf :

I can't find where is the typo in my conf file (clearly there is something wrong here).

No, I reinstall even 3 times Logstash (2x5.3 / 1x5.0.1).

The settings.yml is in `$LS_HOME/config or /etc/logstash`

Ok, the file that I originally posted is the logstash.yml I just added what you see on top of the original file where there was only a lot of commented lines.

I think you are mixing up the concepts of config files and settings files.

Read this doc - [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/config-setting-files.html#config-setting-files](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/config-setting-files.html#config-setting-files)

The config files are separate and are usually named `<filename>.conf` and the settings file is a YAML forma file called `logstash.yml`
