# Error connecting to package registry

Since Zscaler proxy is enabled, My Kibana started giving an error

So I simply added Zscaler RootCA.crt to ubuntu server (where ELK is running) in `/usr/share/ca-certificates` and reconfigured `ca-certficates` dpkg. Now curl is not giving any certificate error but the Kibana is still giving the same error.

Hey @Nil_Battey_Sannata,

It looks like someone [in this thread](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/kibana-fleet-error-connecting-to-package-registry/257956/7) was having the same issue, and solved it using the `NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS` environment variable. You want to give that a shot and let us know if that fixes the issue for you?
