# Error in Kibana Discover

Hi,

I have installed kibana 4.6.1 with marvel 2.4.1 and Elasticsearch 2.4.1. I am receiving an error at Discover tab.

The status of kibana is green. The marvel is showing proper statistics and even the elasticsearch is indexing the data received.

Why is that the discover in not working in kibana?

Hi there,

Would you mind downloading [Kibana 4.6.3](https://www.elastic.co/downloads/past-releases/kibana-4-6-3) and seeing if this resolves your problem?

If it doesn't, then I'll create an issue to track the problem. It seems like it may be related to [Custom format isn't supported](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/custom-format-isnt-supported/41083/10).
