I get Below error in Kibana while creating visualization. My elastic search index has 2 fields. One is timestamp and other one is client IP address.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, take a look at this issue in Elasticsearch that seems to be the same as what you are encountering: [https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/issues/24359](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/issues/24359). There is a comment down in the thread that explains how to apply a workaround in Kibana.

Also, what version of Kibana is this?

Thanks Tim.
I am using Kibana version 6.3.2 and elastic search version 6.3.2.
