# ERROR: Installation aborted, verification failed for --version

Hi,

As per the subject line, how do you install a older version of a plugin? In my case I tried "--version 3.5.1", "--version v3.5.1" and some other variations but they all fail.

/usr/share/logstash# bin/logstash-plugin install logstash-codec-netflow --version v3.5.1  
Validating logstash-codec-netflow  
Validating --version  
Plugin --version does not exist  
ERROR: Installation aborted, verification failed for --version

Try putting the `--version` argument before the plugin name.

I'm afraid that doesn't work either.

The version number should of course always go after `--version`, i.e. `bin/logstash-plugin install --version v3.5.1 logstash-codec-netflow`.
