# Error: Received fatal alert: handshake\_failure Exception: Faraday::SSLError

Hello, I am running into an issue using the input to connect to our elastic nodes to retrieve an index, however, im running into the following error

Our SSL is allowed and works for all other output config files which use the same fields plus two more, ilm\_enabled and ssl\_certificate\_verify. This is the input for our conf file.
