# Error Running ./bin/elasticsearch-setup-passwords interactive

Received the following error running elasticsearch-setup-passwords interactive:

elasticsearch-6.3.0]$ ./bin/elasticsearch-setup-passwords interactive

Unexpected response code [403] from calling GET [http://127.0.0.1:9200/\_xpack/security/\_authenticate?pretty](http://127.0.0.1:9200/_xpack/security/_authenticate?pretty)  
It doesn't look like the X-Pack security feature is available on this Elasticsearch node.  
Please check if you have installed a license that allows access to X-Pack Security feature.

ERROR: X-Pack Security is not available.

Anyone know I can overcome this? I'm following the getting started video (which appears to be from 6.2).

In 6.3, you need to activate security features when you have a basic license.  
This can easily be done by clicking in Kibana in Management -\> License.

You can there activate the trial period.
