# Error when installing filebeat on Raspberry PI 3

I'm trying to install filebeat on my raspberry pi 3 following this tutorial [https://www.gunnarleffler.com/posts/raspberry\_pi\_filebeats/?fbclid=IwAR1v-agodz-wkxPpwGa56kMOHq3M77K8iCHGS7zoyhx9B4TRwIxU9va76dc](https://www.gunnarleffler.com/posts/raspberry_pi_filebeats/?fbclid=IwAR1v-agodz-wkxPpwGa56kMOHq3M77K8iCHGS7zoyhx9B4TRwIxU9va76dc) but I'm stuck at the compile step when I run the "make" command I get this error:  
` build github.com/elastic/beats/v7/filebeat: copying /tmp/go-build4230617193/b001/exe/a.out: open filebeat: permission denied make: * [../libbeat/scripts/Makefile:129: filebeat] Error 1`  
what can i do?

Please don't post pictures of text, logs or code. They are difficult to read, impossible to search and replicate (if it's code), and some people may not be even able to see them 🙂
