# Error while running logstash on ubtuntu server

I am trying to connect my ms sql server to elastic search through logstash. I have used the steps given here: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/6.1/installing-logstash.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/6.1/installing-logstash.html) ,  
And when I execute the command : sudo yum install logstash , I am getting this error:- Error: Package: 1:logstash-6.1.2-1.noarch (logstash-6.x)  
Requires: /bin/sh .  
Would be grateful if anyone can help me out with it.
