# Errors with Elasticsearch

When I open Kibana when I type my IP into the address bar, I get the
following 2 errors at the top of the page. Would you happen to have any
advice on how to fix these errors? I have upgraded my version of
Elasticsearch a few times but I still get these errors...
- Upgrade Required: Your version of Elasticsearch is too old. Kibana
requires Elasticsearch 0.90.9 or above.
- Error Could not reach [http://10.236.134.87:9200/\_nodes](http://10.236.134.87:9200/_nodes). If you are using
a proxy, ensure it is configured correctly
