# ES 5.0.0-rc1 Index Created, but not considered while importing data to ES

I'm using the 5.0.0-rc1 version of ELK stack  
I am able to create an index which is visible in the ES server

But when i try to import data using the said index, it's not considered and the data is also not loaded

My config file is as follows  
input {  
file {  
path =\> ["/home/xxx/input/xxx.out"]  
start\_position =\> beginning  
sincedb\_path =\> "/dev/null"  
codec =\> plain {  
charset =\> "ISO-8859-1"  
}  
}  
}  
filter { .....  
\\   
}  
output {  
elasticsearch {  
action =\> "index"  
index =\> "myindex2"  
}  
stdout { codec =\> rubydebug }

Am i missing something/some step. Any help is appreciated.
