# ES 6.5.2 Cross cluster settings for all clusters

Hi Team,

From the docs:

> The _remote clusters_ module allows establishing uni-directional connections to a remote cluster

I was wondering whether it is normal if I set up both of my clusters, cluster A and cluster B to be aware of each other?

I mean in cluster A, I will configure settings for cluster B's seeds and vice versa in cluster B, I will configure settings for cluster A's seeds, the aim is so that the user to be able to do cross cluster searches no matter to what cluster the user sends the search requests to.

Hi,  
that is technically possible. By "uni-directional" in our docs we mean that the remote cluster gets requests from the CCS coordinating node, and only sends back requests to those.
