# ES master node.How to set the size of heap space?

ES master node.How to set the size of heap space?
Can I set it to 1G,I think it is enough.What do you think?

It's the default value so you should be ok by default.
But if you have a lot of nodes, lot of indices, big mappings, you might need to increase that.
See the `jvm.options` file.

I have 8 nodes.Three master nodes and five data nodes.
