My ES 1.3.2 cluster seems to not respect the indices.fielddata.cache.size
setting.

I’ve tried 65% or 4GB (HEAP size being 7GB), but the Field Size never goes
over 1.2GB although the Field Eviction keeps going up.

In summary: field data cache is evicting stuff even though its size doesn’t
go over 1.2GB

Circuit break is default

My elasticsearch.yml

discovery.zen.minimum\_master\_nodes: 1
path.data: /mnt/data
path.logs: /mnt/logs
index:
query:
bool:
max\_clause\_count: 2048
index.shard.check\_on\_startup: fix
indices.cache.filter.size: 10%
indices.fielddata.cache.size: 4GB

Any ideas?
