Hi,

What's the by default log rotation policy for ES operator? I have created master node of 1G, want to understand chances of it getting filled with the logs.

Thanks
Ravi

Are you talking about the ECK operator?

Hi,

> What's the by default log rotation policy for ES operator?

The operator does not have a log rotation policy. If you are referring to application logs, either the operator or the Elasticsearch logs, [they are redirected to stdout and stderr](https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/cluster-administration/logging/#logging-at-the-node-level).

> I have created master node of 1G,

If it is an ES node with a data volume of 1G then the volume only contains your data, not the Elasticsearch process logs.

Thanks @michael.morello for the clarification.
