# ES output plugin- Update Action with 7.x

Hi All

I am using latest version of 7.x LS, and using ES output plugin, i am in a state to use upsert, that is update action.

Can someone confirm that update action earlier was delete and recreate records and now improved to just update in 7.x. I tried to check docs but i didnt found any information. With the LS run also i am not seeing much change

Any confirmation will be helpful. As i am in process to do bulk index, so update will not be a good idea if it is like with previous versions.So i need update functionality.
