# Excluding field which return null in Kibana

I don't think you can do that from the exclude patterns, but you could combine this visualization with an "exists" filter: [Where to add a missing filter in this Kibana search](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/where-to-add-a-missing-filter-in-this-kibana-search/24845/2)
