# Export APM metrics to Prometheus

I had setup the APM (EKS) for my apps. I want to export the APM metrics primarily the throughput to the prometheus such that i can scale the application pods based on the throughput. Is there any way how i can do it?

**Kibana version** : 8.10.3

**Elasticsearch version** : 8.10.3

**APM Server version** : 8.10.3

**APM Agent language and version** : otel

**Browser version** :

**Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, deb, from source, etc.) and version**:
