# Extract/export Kibana charts to embed/inport them somewhere else

Is there a convenient way of snapshotting Kibana charts in static svg/png/jpg formats  
or CSS/javascript widgets eventually, to display or embed them within other application views outside Kibana?

You can use the Share button on KB4 to get an iframe link you can embed, but there aren't any other options at this time.

I think snapshotting Kibana charts in static svg/png/jpg formats should be useful too ...

I'd definitely encourage you to raise a feature request on [Github](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues) 🙂

We built a solution to snapshot Kibana dashboards and also a scheduler to distribute them periodically to a number of users. I just published a blog on this: [http://guidanz.com/blog/report-scheduler-for-kibana/](http://guidanz.com/blog/report-scheduler-for-kibana/)
