We will be configuring an F5 load balancer for our Elasticsearch cluster. This question is not about the use of a load balancer vs coordinator role. That discussion is elsewhere in many places. The decision has been made with consultation.
I'm looking for specific F5 attributes required when configuring the F5. For example X-Forwarded-For and other similar attributes. Our cluster listens on port 28000 and transport port is default. Any other ports should be open?
Any guidance from those who have configured an F5 load balancer for Elasticsearch is deeply appreciated. I couldn't find this info in official documentation.
Thank you.
