# Facing issue in a query

I am using multi-search query with a filter query . but I am getting no result after applying filter.

"bool": {  
"must": {  
"multi\_match": {  
"operator": "and",  
"query": "_st_",  
"fields": [  
"email",  
"firstName",  
"lastName"  
]  
}  
},  
"filter": {  
"term": {  
"status": "BLOCKED"

I am applying autocomplete search on the user having blocked status.

Your query will only match people called "st". To match "steve", "stephanie" etc you'll need to use a form of [prefix query or the autocomplete features](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/query-dsl-match-query-phrase-prefix.html)
