Hello!

I've seen some people discussing here and there about shipping Fail2ban logs, but it's always using Logstash, which for my current setup, is overkill.

So I was wondering if there's any on-going effort to create a module in Filebeat to process Fail2ban logs. I'm experimenting with Filebeat module development and I could contribute.

Best regards,
Roberto

No, there is no ongoing effort for such module. We are happy to help you with your own module development. Let me know if you have any questions.
