# Failed to query metric data from kibana

I deployed ELK Lite and metricbeat on linux in order to observe metrics for my application.

but when I open kibana UI and click metric, it shows this error:

```auto
Error while fetching resource
Error
Internal Server Error (500)
URL
https://**:5601/api/metrics/snapshot

```

Please suggest that how i can resolve this.

Metricbeat data is not showing on Kibana dashboard.

```auto
There is no data to display.

```

I have reinstalled metricbeat agent but still unbale to see.

Please help.
