# Feature Request: Give the capability to format the alert messages

Could you add the capability to format alert messages under alerting rules, such as adding returns or spacing?

Could you please elaborate on where you’d like to format the alert message and why? You didn’t mention that part.

Yes, under Stack Management-Alerts and Insight-Rules, you can specify an email or OpsGenie alert under a rule. I want to format the alert that is emailed or sent to OpsGenie.
