# Fetching logs for logstash

Hi folks ,
I need to regularly fetch the logs from the remote server and parse it in the logstash after every five minutes

Logstash is meant to receive logs from other places. It doesn't really reach out to other servers. Look into using Logstash or Filebeat on the remote machines to ship the logs to Logstash.
