# Fewer privilege in Index Management than monitor(c), view\_index\_metadata(i) and manage(i)

Hi.

I have set monitor role for Cluster privilege, then view\_index\_metadata and manage privilege for Indice. It works great.

Now I would like to set it fewer privilege, so that manage-button at bottom right and "Edit Settings" can be hidden/disabled/read only. Is there a way to archieve this?

You can add a "Space privilege" to the role and remove features that you want to turn off for the user who has that role. Here is a screenshot with 7.5:

If you give the "None" privilege for "Advanced Settings," the users will still be able to go to the Management application and see many of the features, but not the Advanced Setting feature.
