# Filebeat crashes on windows servers

Hi,
We are encountering a lot of filebeat crashes on Windows 2008 machines.
The Service starts and after a while it crashes.
Trying to find the reason, activating the filebeat.exe from command line and redirect output to stdout and sdterr, got the following:
runtime: failed to create new OS thread (have 3055 already; errno=8)
fatal error: runtime.newosproc
Also encountered the following error for a Running filebeat process:
fatal error: runtime: cannot map pages in arena address space
The process continues to run.
Any idea ?

We don't support 2008 sorry ☹ so it's run at your own risk.

Hi Warkolm,
What does it means ?
It should run, But you will not support for bugs ?
I believe we are not the only ones who run it on Windows 2008.
