# Filebeat does not harvest inactive files

Hi All,

I am using filebeat 7.6.2. On starting up, it does not harvest a file which has time stamp of today but not actively being written into.

Is there some parameter that I could introduce in filebeat.yml to make it harvest an inactive file?
