# Filebeat-god description?

Can anyone point me at a description of what filebeat-god does and a link to its github repo ?

It's a helper used to daemonize the Filebeat process. It's needed because Golang processes can't easily daemonize themselves. Here's the repo: [https://github.com/tsg/go-daemon](https://github.com/tsg/go-daemon)
