Hi guys, could you help me out with the installation of the beats repository on CentOS? I'm using version 6.7 32-bit. I followed the instructions from the docs [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/current/filebeat-installation.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/current/filebeat-installation.html)

and I'm getting this error when doing yum update:

[root@CENTOS ~]# yum update

Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: beats. Please verify its path and try again

Any ideas on what can I do?

Thanks!

I assume you followed all the steps here? [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/libbeat/1.3/setup-repositories.html#\_yum](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/libbeat/1.3/setup-repositories.html#_yum)

The i386 architecture is the problem. There are only packages for i686 and x86\_64 in the repo.

Thanks Andrew! I will install the rpm package then directly.
