# Filebeat modules doesn' follow symlinks

Hi folks,

I am running into a problem where I can't seem to get the Nginx module (ingress-controller) to follow symlinks. Is there is a way to accomplish that? If not, what is the recommended approach to do so?

There is no way for me to know where the exact path for the logs is as I am running on GKE, and following the symlinks to an obscure location will be the only way.
