Hi,

What possibilities do I have to run filebeat in kubernetes as **non-root** user and access the docker container logs? Our datacenter team don't really like privileged root processes 😉

So I want to avoid if possible / keep the number of privileged containers as low as possible.

Thanks, Andreas

Are you following the setup at [this documentation page](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/master/running-on-kubernetes.html)? My understanding is that you shouldn't generally need privileged containers unless you're using OpenShift. If that setup doesn't work for you, could you share more about your configuration / what problems you run into running non-privileged?
