Hello,

I am using Filebeat 5.1.1 and I have questions regarding its configuration.
The log file I want to ship is particular:
Each time the batch runs, the log file is regenerated with the same file name and I need to reship all the content of the file.
With my current configuration, the file is shipped randomly.

Can you please tell me the configuration I need to set up in order to reship all the file each time it is regenerated?

Thanks

Olivier

depneding on the frequency with which the file is recreated you could proberly use a combination of the config option close\_inactive, ignore\_older and clean\_inactive.
setting the options to values smaller than the call frequency should have the desired effect
