# Filebeat Stats / metrics

How can I view Filebeat metrics ? Is there any statsd exporter ? I'm aware its possible with Xpack but I'm trying to stick with `-oss` version

It would be great if I can visualize event out rate in grafana !

Hello @sivakr, we don't currently have an exporter targeting statsd but all beats can expose metrics via [go expvar](https://golang.org/pkg/expvar/) you can access the http endpoint by using the `--httpprof` [flag](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/current/command-line-options.html) and navigate to '/debug/vars'.

You will get some beat specific metrics and libbeat metrics.
