Is there a way to suspend Filebeat from sending logs during a particular day of the week, between two timestamps (like during maintenance period)

What you could do is take advantage of the Beats Configuration Reloading feature: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/7.0/filebeat-configuration-reloading.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/7.0/filebeat-configuration-reloading.html). Using this feature you could have a cronjob (or equivalent) toggle the `log` input's `enabled` setting at the appropriate times.
