In response to [this](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/tomcat-filebeat-module-expected-log-format/272450) previous topic.
Documentation [mentions](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/7.16/filebeat-module-tomcat.html) tomcat **Access** logs.

> This is a module for receiving Apache Tomcat access logs over Syslog or a file.

I believe this is not correct and should just be just tomcat logs since [this](https://github.com/elastic/beats/blob/master/x-pack/filebeat/module/tomcat/log/test/generated.log) example used in the filebeat module show a different type of logging.

Also i think for tomcat access log you also can use the apache module(access log).

Maybe this is the new a new style of logging in tomcat(no expert on it) but it then should then be noted with version numbers.
