# Filter Order in Dashboard

Can you change the order of filters in a Dashboard?  
If I want to add a new one at the left hand side or in the middle do I need to recreate them each time?

Hello Garry, this is not currently supported. There's an older enhancement request [here](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/6138), would you mind putting in a comment, both for your tracking and thus adding a vote? Also, if you're at an Elastic client organization with a contract, whether Cloud or on prem, please get in touch with your support contact and discuss raising an enhancement request via that channel too for added weight
