# Filtering out in a visual builder doesn't filter other dashboard visualizations

When I select a value in a visual builder time series a filtered view will be shown. But this filter will not be applied to other visualizations in the dashboard.  
How can I get a filter over all visualizations in the dashboard when selecting a value in a visual builder?

What value are you selecting in the visual builder? When I drag on the timeline the timefilter is updated but clicking the values in the legend only hide the other series locally (it doesn't filter in Elasticsearch) which seems to be the intended behavior. Is that what you're seeing?

Yes this is what I’m seeing.

I would like to have the option that all visualisations in the dashboard will update based on selecting a value in the legend of the visual builder. Is that possible yet or on the backlog?
