# Forcemerge and mark\_cold to move the cold nodes ,which operation should be done first?

Hi,I am using ES 5.5 with the hot-cold architecture, by marking indices cold, he transfer indices to the cold nodes from hot nodes automatically.  
there are some daily jobs, like forcemerge and mark\_cold to move the cold nodes ,which operation should be done first?
