Is it possible to "format" somehow the first lines of text? ---

There is no mechanism for formatting summaries, though you can specify the excerpt via: > **[Improving pinned topic excerpts](https://meta.discourse.org/t/improving-pinned-topic-excerpts/17640/8?u=sam)** > > I just added trivial support for cutting exceprts, was a fairly trivial change My excerpt here Allows you to control the excerpt as a mod. Will fix the word truncating as well, surprisingly it is ever so slightly more... I think probably keeping emojis in excerpts may be desirable, will discuss with @codinghorror ---
