# Freeze one or more columns in Lens Table visualisation

I have a Lens Table that contains quite many columns which leads to a lot of horisontal scrolling. Is it possible to pin/freeze columns? That would make it a lot easier to keep track when scrolling?

It would also be really helpful for the viewer to be able to hide/unhide columns.

Hi @tallakh

it is already possible for a viewer to "hide" a column in a dashboard thru the column popover.  
There's no direct way to restore the hidden column other than refresh the dashboard page.

I've seen the hide feature, but its a bit confusing since the user has to refresh the page to view it again. And its a bit cumbersome when the user wants to hide multiple columns. Would love to have a similar functionality as the elastic ui datagrid column selector.

Hi! Any news on this? The feature request is still open, but no movement at all since its openning, in may 2025. This simple feature would be very useful. Thanks!
