# FS is not full, but ES reports: java.io.IOException: Disk quota exceeded

I found the following thread: [Elasticsearch with Amazon Elastic File System](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/elasticsearch-with-amazon-elastic-file-system/55867)  
So may be the current issue is also caused by some bug in how ES works with large FS (particularly with AWS EFS mounted via NFS)?...
