I wanted to verify that this is a bug before opening an issue on github. It appears that the `full_id` parameter is unrecognized in 5.0:

```auto
# GET _cat/nodes?full_id=true&h=id
{
  "error": {
    "root_cause": [
      {
        "type": "illegal_argument_exception",
        "reason": "request [/_cat/nodes] contains unrecognized parameter: [full_id]"
      }
    ],
    "type": "illegal_argument_exception",
    "reason": "request [/_cat/nodes] contains unrecognized parameter: [full_id]"
  },
  "status": 400
}
```

Was this removed in 5.0? This breaks [elasticbeat](https://github.com/radoondas/elasticbeat/blob/master/beater/nodes.go#L18).

Just a guess: there was a PR recently that removed silentlty ignoring unknown url parameters in favour of throwing errors: [https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/20722](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/20722)
Could it be that this parameter was never supported / didn't really change anything on the output before 5.0? I'm not too familiar with \_cat though.

I'm not very familiar with the codebase, but according to [https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/blob/5.0/core/src/main/java/org/elasticsearch/rest/action/cat/RestNodesAction.java#L217-L236](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/blob/5.0/core/src/main/java/org/elasticsearch/rest/action/cat/RestNodesAction.java#L217-L236) there should be a `full_id` parameter, no?

Might be a bug, would you mind opening an issue then?

Looks like it already gets taken care of. Thanks for catching this!
