# FYI: bigdesk - what is the status after ES 0.19.x release?

Hi,
as some of you noticed bigdesk does not work with ES 0.19.x. That is
because ES REST API has changed (not only it changed but it now provides a
lot more valuable information).
I am working on update and I expect that first updated version should be
available within 1-2 weeks from now. Just FYI it is a complete
reimplementation. Please bear with me, I will need new bigdesk myself as
well soon, so there is no question I have to push hard on this 🙂
